Through the foresight of community members, the Board and Administration of the Newaygo Medical Care Facility and the commitment of the voters in Newaygo County, Trillium Springs has been serving our seniors since 2007.    This 24 unit complex, consisting of 18 one bedroom and 6 two bedroom units, has been developed for seniors whose desire it is to live with independence while having the security of additional assistance.  Each unit is complete with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer.  Lunch is served daily in our community dining area.  Planned activities, outings and daily coffee time give seniors opportunity to socialize with fellow tenants.  A central courtyard complete with water feature and walking paths is one of the many highlights of Trillium Springs.  A generator on site provides full electrical power should a power outage occur.

Tenants must be 62 years and over and one of the following:

A Newaygo county resident for 1 year or lived in the county for 20 years throughout your lifetime.
Have a relative within the second degree (child, grandchild or sibling) living in the county.

Trillium is a no smoking complex.

0It is our privilege to have the opportunity to provide a safe, secure environment in which to live.  Trillium Springs is designed for the Independent Senior.

We encourage our tenants to continue with your daily routines and utilizing the services in the community.

As we all know, there are times in life when additional help is needed whether due to illness or injury.  In those cases where temporary or occasional help is needed we have comprised a list of community agencies and people who can give assistance.  The Trillium Springs staff is available to help with making the needed contacts for those services if it is so desired.  We encourage family members to also be a part of these decisions so everyone is aware of what is occurring.

The dinner meal can be purchased.  This meal is provided through the Newaygo Medical Care Facility.  Meals can be provided on a temporary basis or continual depending on the need.

EVENING MEAL – $4.00 this meal is a boxed meal and is delivered at noon with the noon meal-no prep work is required other than possibly heating something in the microwave.

If housekeeping services are needed, Trillium staff will assist tenants in finding someone to accommodate the tenants needs.

There are many home health care agencies in this area.  When nursing services are required it is always best to get a recommendation for your family doctor.  If you need assistance with this the Trillium Staff will work with you.
